Associate Professor: 2D Design, Design Communications
Problem solving gives the designer a creative outlet while at the same time solving the client's communications needs.
Besides working in the graphic design field since 1987 in Washington, Texas, and Tennessee, Dan taught at Texas Tech University while working on his Master's degree and developing the Advanced Technology Lab.
Arriving at Belmont in 1994, he has been instrumental in the development of the Design Communications program. Many of his students have gone on to positions with nationally known design firms and have done design work for nationally and internationally known companies. Dan is a member of the College Art Association and the American Institute for the Graphic Arts.
