  • New Dialect Dance Master Class
    New Dialect dancers, Mary Ruth Isbell and Hadassah Perry, will be working with the Belmont Dance Company students for a 5-Saturday series of guided movement explorations. The masterclass will focus on students accumulating “tools” they can use during their dance careers.

    Emmy Award winning performer Heidi Malnar comes to Belmont to host a master class with the Belmont Dance Company.

  • Frantic Assembly Master Class
    As part of their USA tour, Frantic Assembly, the award-winning London-based theater company, comes to Belmont for a three-day intensive, offering workshops in their unique approach in physical theatre that liberates potential and builds confidence in performers. Frantic Assembly's Method is a tool for developing heightened movement that is grounded in reality and assists students with working collaboratively on original, devised material.  The workshops will explore how to use new and exciting approaches in physicality to create meaning and subtext that can be applied to projects or performances.

  • National Theatre Institute Theatre Performance Workshop
    A Program Representative & Teaching Artist from The National Theater Institute will be at Belmont University to lead a workshop in ACTORbatics: Droznin Russian Movement and lead a 10-minute info session about the wonderful opportunities NTI offers undergraduate and post-graduate students.
