Counseling Services offers a range of services including: crisis intervention, diagnostic assessment, brief individual and couples therapy, group therapy, and referral.  Referral information is available for those individuals needing a consultation about medication or who would like to see an off campus counselor or psychiatrist.  The number of sessions provided to students is determined on an individual basis.  Counseling Services is a short term setting and offers referrals for longer term psychotherapy.

Emergencies during office hours are handled immediately at the Counseling Office, located on the second floor of the Gabhart Student Center.  You can reach the office at (615) 460-6856.  In the case of an evening or weekend crisis situation, contact the Office of Campus Security at (615) 460-6911.
