Brennan Senior IDSenior interior design student, Brennan Smith, works on his thesis project proposing a place where people in a food-insecure neighborhood in Nashville can gather as a community to eat, interact with, and learn about food and how to responsibly consume it. The goal is to help communities combat food insecurity and unhealthy dietary habits in a way that instills a renewed respect for nature and a better understanding of the life cycle of our food. Anna Senior project IDAnna Palumbo, senior interior design student is creating a safe space where emotionally or physically abused women can go to find fellowship with others in similar situations. They will be able to engage in spiritually nurturing activities like writing, drawing, cooking or painting while also receiving the support they need while in crisis or recovery.
