Mentoring Program for Belmont University Staff (Pilot Program – 2013/14)

Belmont University launches its first Mentoring Program for Staff in support of professional development and improvement of its key members.  Mentoring provides a rich opportunity for seasoned professionals to coach, advise, and provide feedback to those individuals who desire a  growth opportunity, both personally and professionally. 

When:  Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 semesters

Who:  Mentors and Mentees will be paired based on information gathered on their applications to the program.  The pilot program will include a maximum of eight pairings.

Purpose:  To provide coaching and professional career development for Belmont University staff.  Successful professionals should pass on their expertise to those individuals who are growing in their respective careers. 

Who benefits?  Mentees can benefit through this experience by discussion and practice.  Mentors have the benefit of professional development through sharing their expertise and experience.  The university benefits by having seasoned professionals and aspiring leaders working together and learning from each other.  The opportunities are limitless!
