Jose Gonzalez, M.B.A.
Instructor of Management and Entrepreneurship
What brought you to Belmont?
One simple motivation: Belmont allowed me the opportunity to wake up every day and do something I love. I have a passion for teaching and thrive on walking with my students as they experience the college life. Many students don’t know their passions when they first begin at Belmont, and to see them explore and discover themselves is very rewarding.
What’s it like to live and work in Nashville?
It’s a great time to be in Nashville. As one of the South’s fastest growing cities, Nashville has emerged as a prime location to live, work, raise a family, and have fun. Nashville has all the benefits one would expect from a large metropolitan area without sacrificing the benefits of a smaller city. It’s a place that allows you to belong. I have become engaged at many levels in city wide activities in the social, civic, philanthropic, and professional spheres.
What would you say to someone considering
joining the Belmont faculty?
Just like it’s a great time to be in Nashville, it’s a great time to be at Belmont. Being part of a growing, thriving community of caring and bright colleagues is a wonderful benefit.
