  • Trial Advocacy team ranked 11th in the Nation, and placed 1st and 2nd in the 2014 American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Regional Competition

  • Moot Court International Team sent 2 students to Vienna, Austria for the second year

  • 100% of students in the Class of 2016 and 98% of students in the Class of 2015 passed the MPRE on their first attempt

  • The Belmont Law Review will publish its first volume in the spring of 2014

  • Belmont Legal Aid Society volunteered more than 2,900 hours of pro bono service in 2013-2014 and raised almost $7,000 in Annual Golf Tournament.

  • Belmont students participated in TBA’s 2013 and 2014 Diversity Leadership Institute

  • 3L named Chair of the Communications Subcommittee for the ABA’s Section of Intellectual Property and two students were selected to attend the 29th Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference in Washington D.C.

  • 3L selected by TBA as the recipient of the 2014 Law Student Volunteer Award

  • 3 students received scholarships through the Napier Looby Bar Association in 2013

  • 2L received the inaugural Justice Adolpho A. Birch, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

  • Two 3L’s received the Senator Avon Williams, Jr. and Hon. Robert Lillard Law School Scholarship

  • College of Law hosted Tennessee Supreme Court for multiple Appeals Cases and hosts the Board of Professional Responsibility Disciplinary Hearings  throughout the year
