The Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in music combines a broad coverage of the field of music with an intensive liberal arts curriculum, which includes a minor. Students in this degree are prepared to pursue graduate study in areas of music for which a general music background is appropriate, such as music history.

Belmont offers a wide array of minors, so students have many options available to them for a minor and are able to take advantage of a Belmont music degree with a minor in another of Belmont's excellent programs.
