The following must be considered before submitting Reserved Parking Requests:

  • The spaces in front of MBC and the spaces in front of Freeman are strictly enforced as guest parking. Reserved parking signs will not be issued in these areas.
  • Requests for 10 or more reserved parking spaces during peak hours (Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm) will be considered on a case by case basis. Approved requests for 10 or more parking spaces will be reserved on level 4 of the Inman garage or on level 6 or 7 of the Curb Event Center garage.
  • Reserved parking in the Inman garage is limited to no more than 50 parking spaces.
  • The spaces can be reserved for individual guests or speakers, guests of President Fisher, or special groups coming to campus for meetings or classes.
  • Spaces will not be reserved for students, faculty, or staff. No exceptions will be made to this rule.
  • Spaces will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Spaces will be reserved with a sign, cone, and/or yellow tape. Signs will list the name of the visitor or event, date, and time. On occasion, a generic sign such as "NO PARKING" or "HANDICAP PARKING ONLY" will be used.
  • Any signage used to reserve parking that has not been approved by the OCS or the Office of the President will be removed and the reserved spaces opened for parking.
  • Once the space(s) are reserved and the signs are posted, the Office of Campus Security cannot guarantee the spaces will remain clear for the intended guest. The Office of Campus Security is not staffed to monitor reserved spaces.
  • Any faculty, staff, or student parked in a reserved space will be fined $100.00.
  • Due to the changing environment of the campus, any requests requiring the clearing of a lot two or more days before the event will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • All parking requests should be filled out on the Parking Request Form. (Click the link at the top of the page).
  • All parking requests should be submitted to parking@belmont.edu at least three (3) business days in advance. This policy is necessary in order ensure the proper handling of requests.
  • All parking requests will be confirmed through email by the OCS Parking Coordinator. If an email confirmation is not received do not assume that your space has been reserved.
