Belmont Interfraternity Council (IFC)
Interfraternity Council at Belmont University serves as the governing body of two national member fraternities at the institution. As an affiliate of the North-American Interfraternity Conference, the council is part of a nationwide network reaching over 800 universities. The Interfraternity Council works to assist and strengthen fraternities individually and collectively, develops policy, promotes educational programming, coordinates community service efforts, and furthers intellectual accomplishment and scholarship.
What is IFC?
Belmont’s IFC is composed of a delegation from each Belmont fraternity that come together for a bi-weekly meeting with the purpose of promoting a values-congruent community, creating a culture of accountability, and providing social and educational programs for the fraternal community at Belmont. The Interfraternity Council is run by an executive board that is comprised of elected members representing each fraternity at Belmont.
