About Ms. Fisher
|
Originally from Orlando, FL, Miss Fisher came to western North Carolina in 2001 to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in music at Mars Hill College. After completing her undergraduate degree, she began working as an administrator, educator, and performer with the Asheville Lyric Opera. Miss Fisher furthered her studies in music by attending Western Carolina University where she completed her Master’s of Music in May of 2008. She currently is an active performer and music instructor in the Nashville area. Miss Fisher joined the Belmont University School of Pharmacy team in January of 2009 as a Program Assistant for the School of Pharmacy and the Office of Experiential Education. Her work history includes a variety of positions in the non-profit sector including a western North Carolina domestic violence agency and the TN Office for Refugees with Catholic Charities of TN. This is her first experience working in higher education and is excited about working with the faculty, staff, and students of the newly created School of Pharmacy at Belmont. |
