Hi! My name is Mary Nelle Hall, and I am so excited to begin working with you! I grew up just down the road from Belmont in Franklin, TN. My family has been in middle Tennessee for three generations, so if you are looking for recommendations from a local, I’m your girl!

I earned my undergraduate degree at Samford University where I majored in Languages (French and Spanish) and World Trade. After graduation, I decided to try out life in the “big city,” and I moved to Washington, D.C. where I worked at the International Rescue Committee, a refugee resettlement agency, for almost three years. While there, I worked with people from all over the world as I helped our refugee and asylee clients find jobs, taught cultural orientation classes to new arrivals, and started the organization’s first refugee youth program. Through this I found my passion—helping students navigate the college application process and find their “fit”.

After visiting, living, and studying in 15 different countries, I can honestly say that Nashville and Belmont are my perfect fit!  I look forward to learning more about you and to sharing all the incredible opportunities and community that Belmont has to offer.
