Belmont University offers a variety of merit-based scholarships. The application for admission to the university serves as the merit-based scholarship application. Priority consideration for scholarships is given to those applications received by December 1. You may receive only one merit-based scholarship. Roughly a third of the freshman class received academic merit scholarships. Merit scholarships are geared toward freshman applicants. Transfer applicants with demonstrated need and an outstanding academic record at their previous college may be eligible for limited transfer scholarships. |

Application forms and detailed guidelines for these grants are available online at http://www.belmont.edu/sfs/ Tuition Discount Grant Church-Related Vocational Grant Students who are members of a church affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist convention and receive financial support from their church are eligible for a matching contribution from Belmont up to $250 per semester. |

| Belmont is privileged to receive a number of small restricted scholarships from the gifts of friends and alumni of Belmont. These scholarships vary in requirements and amounts.
