Social Work Club

The Student Social Work Club is an active group of social work majors and minors. The students work together to bring in guest speakers, get together socially, take trips, establish a mentoring program for each other (match Junior/Senior majors with Freshmen/Sophmore majors) and to volunteer their time to area agencies. This is definitely one aspect of the Social Work Department that you won't want to miss!

The President of the Social Work Club for the 2009/2010 school year is Michelle Barnett. She has great plans for this year. Some of them are as follows: Hunger and Homeless activities, bake sales for donations to help cover the cost for some students to travel in March 2008 to the BPD Conference, Easter Project with Napier Elementary School, Take Back the Night, and many others.
