Parent and Family Weekend is your chance to experience your student’s home away from home at Belmont University. Join in on the Bruin experience as you spend time connecting with your student and other key members of the Belmont community. Come see what has made Belmont great for the last 125 years as you lean into the Bruin life that your student experiences everyday.
On behalf of the entire Belmont Community, we invite you to Parent and Family Weekend, scheduled for Sept. 30 through Oct. 2. We encourage you to take advantage of this event-filled weekend as you enjoy time with your student on Belmont’s beautiful campus.

Parent and Family Weekend consists of a wide array of activities to showcase student life at Belmont. From hearing Belmont’s extraordinary musical talent, to witnessing an electric atmosphere at a Bruin sporting event, to hearing a Belmont faculty give a lecture, we want you to experience all that Belmont has to offer. An official Parent and Family Weekend schedule will be posted in July. The main activities for Parent and Family Weekend will be hosted on Friday night and all day Saturday. On Friday afternoon, we will provide an opportunity for families to connect with key campus offices in order to answer any specific questions you may have. On Sunday, we will provide excursion options for families to experience the great city of Nashville. Check back in July for a full schedule of events.
Registration for Parent and Family Weekend will open on July 18. The cost to attend Parent and Family Weekend is $20 per guest and free to all Belmont students and children under 12. This cost covers the Saturday breakfast and lunch provided by the college and is non-refundable. Tickets for Parent and Family Weekend will go on sale in July and will remain on sale until the Monday before Parent and Family Weekend.
