Vocational Exploration

We believe every Christian is given the call to love God and love neighbor. The particularities of that call, however, vary from person to person – which is why we think vocational exploration is such a critical piece of your college experience. Below are some opportunities we have created specifically to wrestle with the questions of calling and vocation.

Vocation Retreat
Every spring semester University Ministries hosts a retreat for students to come together and reflect on their sense of vocation. We will explore the question “how do I uniquely live out the call to love God and neighbor?” in an interactive and exploratory setting. Information and registration details about the next retreat will be posted when available, but please contact Josh TenHaken-Riedel for more information in the meantime.

Connect Groups
Each Spring semester, Connect Groups are led by Belmont faculty & staff and offered to all students. These groups are designed for students to find community and create space for conversation about vocation and calling. For more information please contact Josh TenHaken-Riedel or Christy Ridings.
