Graduate Opportunities

University Ministries is here to serve you and help you find community and engage your faith during your time at Belmont. We can help you connect to a church, find outreach opportunities, provide pastoral care, or pray for you. If you have any questions or want to meet with someone from University Ministries please contact Josh TenHaken-Riedel.

Worship Nights: Twice a semester we gather as a graduate student community to worship and pray together. Each worship night starts at 5:30pm and takes place at the Belmont Ministry Center on the corner of 12thand Caldwell just a few blocks from the heart of campus. The worship nights take place the following days:

  • Tuesday, September 18
  • Wednesday, November 7
  • Tuesday, February 19
  • Wednesday, April 3

Graduate Service Day: Come join us on Saturday, February 23 from 9-11am at Preston Taylor Ministries for a time of service together. Please sign up here if you plan to attend! Questions? Contact Josh TenHaken-Riedel at

Belmont on Mission: We have a number of opportunities for you to engage in the local, national, and international community through missions and outreach. Some graduate programs have discipline specific international mission trips while our Plunge and Immersion trips are open to students from all programs. We also have local outreach through Into.Nashville and Room In The Inn, a program here on campus that houses individuals suffering from homelessness during the winter months. Visit the Belmont on Mission page or contact Larkin Briley to learn more about how to get involved in missions and outreach.

Graduate Student Christian Fellowship Groups: Some of our graduate programs have Christian fellowship groups that meet regularly throughout the semester for prayer, worship, discussion and fellowship. For more information about these groups or about opportunities in your specific program please contact Josh TenHaken-Riedel at
