NEAR 48-A residence-hall based discipleship/spiritual formational ministry that is designed to engage students in on-campus community.
Spiritual Life Assistants, Each freshman residence hall has an SLA (Spiritual Life Assistant) on every floor. The role of the SLA is to get to know the people living on their floor, build relationships, help foster intentional Christian community in that space, lead a weekly small group and provide pastoral care to students in need. Near 48 is a partnership between Residence Life and University Ministries and is a great way to get plugged into the spiritual life on Belmont's campus.
Upperclassman Community Life Leaders (CLL), Each upperclassmen residence hall/community has a CLL. The role of the CLL is to get to know the people living in that community, build relationships, help foster intentional Christian community in that space, lead a weekly small group and provide pastoral care to students in need.
