Due to COVID-19 restrictions, 2021 Summer Music Camps are limited to day-only experiences. No residential options will be offered. Camp format and schedules are subject to change with campus protocols. Participants will be notified of modifications by May 1.
The Belmont Summer Vocal Arts Intensive is a week-long immersive experience singing in a variety of styles. Students entering grades 9-12 will engage in classes, master classes, and performances with the outstanding artistic faculty at Belmont University. The Summer Vocal Arts Intensive provides a unique opportunity to experience high level artistry in both classical and commercial singing. This camp takes place on Belmont University’s beautiful campus in downtown Nashville, TN.
June 28 - July 2, 2021
Daily Schedule
Each day, students will participate in master classes, electives, music theory, and seminars on varying topics. Master classes will provide solo vocal lessons in a group setting – choose from classical, commercial, integrative (both classical and commercial), or musical theatre tracks. Expansive elective classes offerings will offer opportunities to explore vocal health, artist development, vocal styles, choral conducting, diction for singers, chart writing, dance, and more.
Check-in will be between 8:30-9am each day, with camp programming from 9am-3pm.
Meals
Meals will be served in Johnson Center Dining Hall, which can make accomodations for food allergies.
Eligibility
The Belmont Summer Vocal Arts Intensive is open to students entering grades 9-12 in the Fall of 2021, pending successful audition.
2021 Cost
Commuter Camper: $250 ($100 application fee applies to this amount)
This includes:
- Lunch each day
- Tuition for large ensembles, small ensembles, master classes, and electives
- Camp t-shirt

- A Credit Card Payment ($100 Deposit) will be required at time of submission. The deposit is non-refundable, but will count towards tuition if accepted.
If your application is accepted, you will recieve an email with instructions to complete the online registration.
