Biography

Anna Reddington joined the Department of Exercise Science at Belmont University as a Lecturer in the Fall of 2025. She earned both her Master of Science in Exercise Science and Wellness with a concentration in Fitness and Performance, and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Wellness from Liberty University.

Prior to her appointment at Belmont, Reddington served as Assistant Director of Athletic Performance at the University of New Mexico, where she oversaw sport performance for the softball, soccer, women’s golf, and spirit teams. She also held roles as a Performance Coach at Accel Performance and Wellness and as an intern strength coach for the University of Memphis football program. In addition, she taught in the Exercise Science Department at Southwest Tennessee Community College.

Reddington is both a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Performance and Sport Scientist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In addition, she holds certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM) and USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach. Her areas of expertise lie in sport science, holistic wellness, and applied strength and conditioning.
