Biography
Antonio Valenzuela Jr., originally from Mesa, Arizona, has over 20 years of combined EMS and healthcare experience, including roles as an EMT, paramedic, field preceptor, classroom educator, and consultant in EMS education and CPR/first aid. He taught at Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix, AZ and has worked as an educator contractor.
After relocating in 2017, Antonio spent about nine years at veterans hospitals—serving as an ECG Tech/nurse’s aid in Louisville, KY (2017–2020), where he developed staff ECG training, and as a simulation technician at the Minneapolis VA (2020–2025), contributing to early simulation programs for pharmacy, nursing, and other departments.
He is certified as a BLS, ACLS, and PALS instructor, served as an EMS Education coordinator and director of education, and holds a Bachelor of Health Science.
Antonio enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, playing guitar, listening to all kinds of music, and watching or playing baseball and football.
