Biography

Justin Dowse is a seasoned producer, audio engineer, mixer, songwriter, and musician with a dedication to crafting compelling music. His journey began on the guitar at a young age, sparking a lifelong interest in the creative and technical aspects of music production. He pursued his passion at California Institute of the Arts, focusing on electronic composition, studio production, and live sound. After graduating, he split his time between touring as a musician and working as an audio engineer, gaining valuable hands-on experience in both fields.

Eager to deepen his knowledge, Justin earned a Master of Science in Recording Arts at the University of Colorado. This advanced education equipped him with the technical expertise and theoretical foundation to thrive in the competitive music industry. After relocating to Nashville, he quickly established himself as a trusted collaborator, working with top-tier professionals and contributing to over 150 music production projects. His credits include artists such as Ben Rector, Ellie Holcomb, Jeremy Camp, Aaron Gillespie, Andrew Peterson, Jason Gray, David Crowder, and Emery, showcasing his versatility and commitment to excellence.

Justin also leads a study abroad program focusing on Dolby Atmos immersive music production and mixing, reflecting his commitment to innovation and education in the field. In 2021, he completed an MBA at the Massey College of Business at Belmont University, broadening his understanding of the business side of the music industry.
