The Office of Student Engagement recently welcomed three new fraternities to the Belmont community including Sigma Chi and Pi Kappa Phi of the InterFraternity Council (IFC) and Kappa Alpha Psi of the National PanHellenic Council (NPHC).
Student leaders engaged in Belmont Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) are among the highest academic achievers at the University. The efforts of these diverse leaders of character have nation-wide impact as they are deeply committed to learning, leading and serving communities within and beyond Belmont.
“The new Belmont fraternities will enhance the student experience for all students desiring to connect, engage and make a difference as they pursue excellence in all that they do,” said Dr. AdriAnne Sternberg, associate dean of students, leadership & engagement. “The Division of Student Formation and OSE staff celebrate and support these new fraternity leaders and those who are helping them flourish along the way.”
Last year, Belmont FSL philanthropic efforts raised a record $127,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Join students, Sunday, April 14 at 6 p.m. for Belmont’s annual “Greek Sing” as fraternity and sorority members partner with the community to continue this beloved campus tradition.
