Heather has spent the last 16 years working and ministering on college campuses. Her passion in working with students is helping them to discover how their faith impacts their everyday life – from the career that they choose to where they live to how they spend their money. She also loves to plan worship and preaches whenever she has the opportunity. Heather is an avid runner, has taken more than her fair share of naps, and loves trips that lead to the beach or Disney World. She is married to Brad, a scholar of ancient Christianity, and together they have 2 amazing children.

Christy is a Belmont alumnae, earned an MA from Portland Seminary and is pursuing a DMin from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. For the past 23 years, she has been involved in various campus ministry areas at Belmont and Vanderbilt University as well as coordinating collegiate events/ministries across the nation. She loves traveling (Scotland & South Africa in particular), cooking, architecture, NHL hockey and is passionate about students. Her vocation has been, and always will be, focused toward the next generation, hearing their stories and being present for some of their most formational moments!

Larkin grew up a local in Franklin, TN, and he stayed in town to attend Belmont for his undergraduate degree. His wife Virginia teaches in secondary ed, while he has worked in full-time pastoral ministry for the last 6 years. More than anything, Larkin loves working with college students, and is passionate about helping them learn to leverage their passions and careers for others’ flourishing. A die hard NHL Predators fan, Larkin also loves pour over coffee, ultimate frisbee, getting in a round of golf with friends, and playing with his golden retriever named Coda.

Serving as the primary contact for the department, LaReace is likely to be the friendly voice (or face) that greets you when you contact the Office of University Ministries. LaReace has a genuine passion for helping others, and values the opportunity she has to connect with students each day. She seeks to actively live out the University Ministries’ motto of loving God, and loving people through her daily interactions with students, faculty, staff, parents and visitors. Outside of the office, LaReace enjoys gardening, attending concerts and spending time with her husband Chris, and their 3 children.
