Vicki has always been interested in news...even as a child. She would watch the local news and admired the news teams who were simultaneously knowledgeable and pleasant. She was accepted to Michigan State University and joined the Communication Department. Originally she considered writing, but soon found that Tele-Communications was a better fit. As a result, she started a career in Broadcasting...with positions in radio, print and eventually found her niche in Broadcast news.

Vicki's time in news has resulted in winning a number of awards, including seven Emmy's. She recently retired after more than 40 wonderful years in the broadcast business.
