2020 O'More Fashion Show

***Originally scheduled for April 25, the 2020 O’More Fashion Show is being postponed and reimagined in light of the COVID-19 public health crisis and our desire to work within the parameters of social distancing. The virtual format for the 2020 O’More Fashion Show, anticipated for the summer, will allow our talented student designers to be even more engaged in the creative direction of presenting their work while also allowing their designs to be seen by a larger audience than ever before. Be on the lookout for additional details that will be shared on our web page and social media platforms.

The O’More Fashion Show is a highly-anticipated annual event where four years of rigorous Fashion Design education culminate in an impressive showcase of collections as diverse as the student designers who create them. Providing an up-close look at original designs that are cutting edge in terms of style and technical execution, the show is a launching pad for emerging designers and groundbreaking talent.

The 2020 O’More Fashion Show will feature work from sophomores and juniors and showcase five senior Fashion Design students as they debut their capstone collections. Inspiration was taken from science fiction, Donna Summer the disco queen of the ‘70s, modern interpretations of garments from the late Middle Ages of Europe, the warmth and beauty of the summer season, and wearable pieces of art. With the celebration of our 50th Anniversary, our three studio partnership projects will be rounding out the showcase: Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Maharam in NYC and #BeTheGift a national campaign raising awareness for organ and tissue donation.

“This exciting and unique virtual show will demonstrate O’More’s continued commitment to excellence and vision for the role of design in culture. Through a variety of approaches, our students will stretch their imaginations and heighten their skills while manifesting design excellence and sustainability, which are values of both the O’More College and Belmont University.”
