About the Digital Fabrication Lab

The Digital Fabrication Laboratory is available to Belmont University students completing course-related work and can be utilized to explore, develop, and present design ideas. The DigiFabLab is equipped with laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC milling machine, 3D scanner, and vinyl cutter, in addition to tools, equipment, and workspace to post-process the output of these machines. This equipment will be available to students whenever endorsed by a CAD faculty and in a controlled and supervised environment by appointment during laboratory opening hours (8:30 am - 4:30 pm) and at alternative times by request and upon prior approval. Safety and operation training must be taken before operating any equipment as it has the potential to be damaged or dangerous if used incorrectly or not properly maintained. Personal Protective Equipment, such as safety glasses and gloves, must be used when operating the machines.
