Biography

She/Her/Hers

Degree / Training: M.Ed. Candidate in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University; B.A. in Psychology from Saint Louis University

Years Working with BUCS / Responsibilities: This is my first year at BUCS! I started in August 2023 and am excited to be here for the academic year. My responsibilities include meeting with students for individual therapy, group therapy, and helping with outreach.

Areas of Clinical Interest: I appreciate hearing the life stories of others and hope to establish a space for growth, connection, and authenticity. While I’m still exploring different clinical areas, I am interested in anxiety, relationships, life transitions, and self-compassion.

Hometown: Galena, IL

When I'm not working, I enjoy: Trying new foods, exploring new places around Nashville, and connecting with family and friends! When able, I also love to travel.

Favorite Place on or near Campus: I like walking around Hillsboro Village. Fido is one of my favorite coffee shops!

Self-Care Tip: Self-care looks different for each person, and that’s okay. For me, I try to intentionally slow down, check in with myself, and engage in restorative practices like taking a mindful walk or talking to a loved one.
