Biography

Molly joined Belmont in February 2024 as the Alumni Affairs Coordinator and Career Advisor after more than 18 years of practicing law.  In addition to fostering the law school alumni efforts and managing Belmont’s American Inn of Court chapter, she supports law students and alumni with job strategy, professional development and career counseling services.  Prior to joining the College of Law, Molly practiced commercial real estate and finance law with Bass Berry & Sims PLC in Nashville.  During her time at Bass, she served on the hiring committee and the women’s initiative committee.  She began her practice at Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP in Atlanta.

Molly holds a B.A. in English Literature from The University of the South (Sewanee) and a J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.  While in law school, Molly served as the Special Works Editor of the Alabama Law Review

Outside of the office, Molly enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and chocolate lab.  She is an avid traveler and whether it be building houses in Nepal, cruising through the Galapagos Islands or summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro, she’s always up for an adventure.
