Biography

She/ Her/ Hers

Degree / Training: B.A. in Psychology from Cardinal Strich University in Milwaukee, WI; M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Tennessee State University. I am currently a 3rd year Ph. D. Counseling Psychology candidate at Tennessee State University.

Years Working with BUCS / Responsibilities: I am new to BUCS! I am a Doctoral Practicum student, and I started this Fall.

Areas of Clinical Interest: Self-Compassion and Self-Esteem, Mindfulness, Relationship Issues, Anxiety, Substance-use issues, Transition/ Phase of life issues. I also enjoy working with POC, the LGBTQIA+ community, and international students.

Hometown: I am an international student from Accra, Ghana, which is in West Africa.

When I'm not working, I enjoy: Spending time with friends, baking, taking care of my plants, painting, going to the movies, painting, listening to music, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, or going to the gym.

Favorite Place on or near Campus: 615 Deli- they have great fries and tacos!

Self-Care Tip: It’s alright to not be productive all the time. It is just as important to take time to relax, be still, and do things just for fun.
