Biography

She/Her/Hers

Degree / Training: M.Ed candidate in Human Development Counseling at Vanderbilt University. B.A. in Psychology and Religious Studies from Gettysburg College.

Years Working with BUCS / Responsibilities: I am so excited for my first year with BUCS as a clinical intern! I work with students individually and I help lead one of the group therapy options. I am looking forward to doing some outreach and psychoeducation activities on campus!

Areas of Clinical Interest: I am passionate about supporting people in their journey toward self-compassion and empowerment. I seek to create a safe space where students can feel comfortable being their most authentic selves while working through whatever they may be facing. My areas of interest include life transitions, anxiety, identity exploration, body image issues and self-esteem.

Hometown: New City, New York

When I'm not working, I enjoy: Crocheting, cooking family recipes, thrift shopping for new crafts, watching any Bravo TV show

Favorite Place on or near Campus: Anywhere Belle the Belmont cat is…

Self-Care Tip: Use your bed only for sleep and rest/relaxation so that your body can automatically start winding down when you get in bed after a long day. Make your bed as the first thing you do each morning so that you have already accomplished something before your day really begins, and you’ll thank yourself later!
