Biography

Originally from Washington state, Valerie Campbell received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Piano Performance from Central Washington University. Campbell studied under the Internationally acclaimed concert pianist Dr. John Pickett. Campbell’s graduate performance recital and thesis was on J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations, BWV 988. Campbell has performed both nationally and internationally, most notably at Benaroya Hall in Seattle, WA.

While in Washington State, Valerie Campbell was the Head of the Piano Department at Opus School of Music and Brand Ambassador for Steinway & Sons. Valerie Campbell is currently an adjunct piano professor at Belmont University. Along with teaching Campbell is a local accompanist and frequent collaborator with soloist and chamber groups.

Outside of teaching, Campbell enjoys weightlifting, exploring new restaurants and renovating houses with her husband.
