Student Opportunities

Students in Belmont's Public Health Program have many opportunities to get involved including: 

    • Public Health Student Association (PHSA)The mission of PHSA is to promote public health education, awareness, and activities at Belmont University. The association is open to all students who have an interest or passion for public health, health promotion, or healthcare. PHSA welcomes students across all disciplines and from all backgrounds to join an organization based on fun and lifelong learning!

    • Public Health Book ClubThe program hosts a monthly book club open to all majors.  The book club offers an opportunity for everyone to voice their opinions and engage in great discussion about timely public health issues.

  • Coffee and Careers SeriesThe program frequently hosts guest speakers as part of the ‘Coffee and Careers’ series aimed at introducing students to potential careers in public health.
