Biography

Tony Moreira has extensive experience as an arranger, composer, educator, pianist, and music producer. High qualified professional in the music business, he has been in this field for more than 20 years doing outstanding projects in Brazil and USA. In U.S. he was the main composer and producer of the SoundPlanet Advertisement Studios located in Denver, Colorado. His works at SoundPlanet includes Peak Kia Vehicles, Floyds Barber Shop, Egg and I Breakfast and Lunch, Rooter Town, Golden Spike Roofing, Breeze Thru Car Wash, and Down Digital Marketing to name a few. In Brazil, he worked with the renowned composer, conductor and producer Ruria Duprat in major advertisement projects as a McDonalds, Red Bull, Banco do Brasil, Caixa Economica Federal, Coca-Cola, Pfizer, Mattel Toys, Citroen, Peugeot, Nissan, and Nestle. As a side-musician, he performed and recorded with: Maffalda Minozzi, Negritude Jr., Raça Negra, Rick e Renner, Flavio Gutok, Gal Costa, Isidro Aybar, New York Voices, Katie Mackey, Gregg Bissonnette, Steve Turre, Ingrid Jensen, Danny’s and the Juniors, among others. As an educator, he taught music theory at University of Kansas and Music Technology at Rowan University in New Jersey. He is currently Assistant Professor of Composition at Belmont University in Nashville and one of the “Bangaloo” Music Content’s composers, in Brazil.
