MOVE IN DAYS FOR FALL 2018

Below is the assigned day for each residence hall.  Due to the complex nature of moving 4400 students onto campus, all students must come on their assigned day and time.  In mid-July, move in day information will be sent out with your assigned day and time.

Monday August 20 - Russell and Horrell, starting at 8am

For more move in day information, please reference the Upperclassman Move In Letter and look for your move in day packet in July.  Residence Life discourages the use of trailers and Uhauls during move in weekend as they do not fit in our parking garages and will not be able to be close to your building for unloading.

Move In Day Volunteer

Move In Day is a very important day for Belmont University.  We strive to give our students the best experience possible when they first arrive to campus.  As a result, we need a lot of volunteers to make it happen!  This is where you come in.  We rely on our volunteers to help unload vehicles and carry items to students rooms.

Your assistance to the thousands of grateful students and parents is emblematic of the unique commitment of Belmont's faculty, staff, and our community partners.  The energy and enthusiasm from colleagues and friends like you make the enormous task of moving in over 1600 new freshmen so much easier and enjoyable for all involved.   On behalf of the entire Department of Residence Life, allow me to extend a heart felt thank you and express our deep appreciation for your invaluable service.
