Bethany Brewer
ALUMNI PERSPECTIVE: Bethany Brewer, B.B.A 2018, M.A.C.C 2019

-Tax Accountant, LBMC

"I decided to come back to school when I was working in healthcare - I knew that a degree in accounting could afford me more opportunities in the industry. I plan to work in tax or internal audit for a public/private company specializing in healthcare.

Belmont’s Adult Degree Program offers the resources, support, and financial incentives anyone would need to transition smoothly into academia again. Several classes stood out to me in terms of the coursework:  Federal Ind. Income Tax with Dr. Marilyn Young, Spirituality in World Religions with Dr. Marty Bell, Microeconomics with Dr. Marieta Velikova. Their passion is infectious. Each of these classes sparked my interest that has carried over into this very moment. I attribute that to their teaching methods and dedication."
