Corey is originally from Huntington, West Virginia, and moved to Nashville to attend Belmont in 2016. While at Belmont, her campus involvement included Bruin Recruiters, Campus Tour Guide, Belmont Ambassadors President, Business Student Advisory Board, Homecoming Student Council, Admission Outreach Specialist, BOLD Leadership program and Alumni Relations Student Assistant.

She graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a became a “double Bruin” in 2021 with Master of Science in Strategic Communications & Organizational Leadership. Her graduate thesis work focused on “Developing Organizational Identification in Higher Education” and its correlation to both short and long-term engagements and commitment behaviors of alumni.

Currently, Corey serves on the Implementation Team for HCA Healthcare under the Care, Transformation, & Innovation Division. Her role includes scalability plans for enterprise implementation, facilitating workflow sessions, determining training approaches for clinicians and overall project management. This work positions her to travel among the 186 hospitals across 21 states implementing products, processes and programs to improve clinician experience and patient care. Outside of work, she also serves on the Massey Alumni Board, leads the Young Professional Board for The Store, is involved with the Nashville Junior Chamber, enjoys hosting dinner parties to bring people together and finds every excuse to come to Belmont.

Corey deeply believes that we are all better when we are aiding in the flourishing of others and is passionate about engaging with organizations who seek to do just that. She places a high value on the investment and empowerment of people, cultivating an environment in which they can flourish along with the mission of the organization, and equipping them with the skills to better serve our communities.
