At Belmont, we believe wellness is essential to whole-person formation.
Through our Be Well BU program, students cultivate practices that nurture physical, emotional, spiritual, and social health in harmony with purpose, character, and virtue. Grounded in our Christ-centered identity, wellness is not just self-care—it’s a formative journey of flourishing grounded in practical wisdom and lived in service to God and community.
Be Well BU invites students to grow in ten dimensions of wellness—physical, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, environmental, cultural, financial, occupational, and communal service—so they may live with purpose and flourish in all aspects of life. WELL Core, a graduation-required program, ensures students engage in meaningful experiences across these dimensions to foster a life of satisfaction, resilience, and purposeful growth. The Belmont Formation Collaborative weaves character formation, purposeful development, and wellness into a unified approach, preparing students for lives marked by integrity, service, and the ability to thrive in every season.
