Thomas Ozburn

Biography

Tom has progressed through HCA over the years working at HCA facilities in Bowling Green, KY; Summit Medical Center, Southern Hills Medical Center and as Market President for Parkridge Health System in Chattanooga, Tn.   Tom celebrated his 25th year with HCA in June of this year and is now the President and CEO of Centennial Medical Center.  This hospital and position are ones that Tom has aspired to receive from his early years starting with HCA. 

Tom completed his undergraduate work at the University of Alabama with a BS in Healthcare Administration.  Following his work at Alabama, Tom completed the Master of Health Administration program at The University of Memphis College of Health Sciences and his Master of Business Administration at The University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business.  Tom completed his education journey in 2022 receiving a Doctor of Science degree from the Nation’s top Health Administration program, The University of Alabama at Birmingham. 

Tom is married to Lori Mitchell-Ozburn, former news Anchor for WKRN News 2 in Nashville and WRCB News 3 in Chattanooga, TN.  Lori retired from news and is now the public relations director for Oak Hill Academy in Nashville, TN. 

Tom and Lori have two grown children, Thomas Ozburn, Jr. and Allie Grace Ozburn.  Thomas is following in his father’s footsteps and is completing his administrative residency at Skyline Medical Center.  Upon completing of his residency, Thomas will earn his Master of Health Administration from The University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Allie Grace had also chosen the medical field and is a first-year nurse at Cook Children’s Hospital in Ft. Worth, TX.
