Year after year, employers rank "Communication Skills" as the #1 quality they seek in their employees, and the #1 quality prospective employees lack (NACE Job Outlook Survey).

The modern work place demands creative problem-solving, effective speaking and writing, digital competence and interpersonal savvy. The Corporate Communication program at Belmont University invites students to develop these essential communication skills in a wide range of courses on the strategies that organizations use to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Through case studies, hands-on projects, internships, and real-world experiences, students learn about reputation management, corporate strategy, crisis communication, organizational training, employee relations, leadership and organizational change management.

The Corporate Communication major is intentionally interdisciplinary and flexible so that students can work one on one with a faculty advisor to tailor their program of study for their evolving personal and professional goals.
