The North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination ®    (NAPLEX) is administered by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) and measures a candidate’s knowledge of the practice of pharmacy. It is just one component of the licensure process and is used by state boards of pharmacy as part of their assessment of a candidate’s competence to practice as a pharmacist.

In 2023, 16 out of 28 (57%) Belmont students applying for a PGY1 residency matched during phase I. At the end of phase II of the match, 23 out of 28 (82%) Belmont students matched with a PGY1 residency program. Seven of 10 applicants (82%) applying for PGY2 programs matched.
