Adam Fulton is an educator and economist based in Nashville, Tennessee, with over a decade of experience in teaching, economic research, and business development. At Belmont University, Adam teaches Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Entertainment Economics, and Personal Financial Wellness, equipping students with the tools to navigate complex economic concepts and make informed financial decisions.
Before joining Belmont, Adam served as a Senior Economic Advisor at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he conducted in-depth research on the economic and demographic profiles of minimum wage earners. His work focused on analyzing the economic impact of raising the minimum wage in Colorado.
Prior to this, Adam spent five years as a Senior Economic Associate at Regional Economic Models, Inc. (REMI) in Amherst, Massachusetts. At REMI, he collaborated with federal, state, and local government clients to assess the economic implications of various policy initiatives.
In addition to his academic and professional accomplishments, Adam is passionate about bridging the gap between economic theory and practical application. He regularly contributes to community discussions on financial literacy and economic policy, emphasizing the importance of data-driven decision-making.
Adam holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His diverse experiences reflect a commitment to fostering economic understanding and promoting informed policymaking.
