Biography

Amy is a graduate of The University of Alabama. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Science Secondary Education and her master’s in Instructional Technology. She joins the team with a demonstrated passion for creating and designing informative lessons and content that enhances student engagement online and face-to-face. Amy recently completed a hands-on instructional design internship where she assisted in redesigning a required course within the Instructional Technology Program at UA, which will be implemented in the Fall semester. Before moving into higher education, she was a classroom teacher, coach, and Canvas Ambassador during her school site’s transition to the Canvas LMS. She provided training and support for all community staff members, students, and parents. Utilizing her experience from all aspects of education, she looks forward to making a lasting impact.
