Ashlyn Hall, an alumna of Belmont University, earned a B.A. in Spanish with minors in dance and journalism. She joined the University as an Adjunct Instructor in 2015 and has taught jazz and modern dance as well as choreographed original work for the Belmont University Dance Company's annual production, Mixed Bill.
A faculty member at Rejoice School of Ballet, Ashlyn teaches ballet, modern and tap, and she partnered with Gerald Watson (Nashville Ballet) to assistant direct Rejoice's annual classical ballets from 2015-2017. Meanwhile, she has worked with di Mossa, Epiphany, Blue Moves, and other local dance companies, performing throughout Middle TN and the Southeast at events like Nashville Ballet's Emergence and festivals including Nashville Fringe, Celebrate Nashville, Kindling Arts, and TN Association of Dance. Ashlyn also spent a few years in the San Francisco Bay Area curating and organizing a quarterly artist showcase for LEVYdance; teaching at Alonzo King LINES Ballet's community programs, Bay Area Children's Theatre, Berkeley City Ballet, and Adda Clevenger School; and performing with Stephanie Unger & Artists.
Ashlyn endeavors to help dance students uncover new connections between their minds and bodies, unlocking opportunities to relate more fully to one another and the world.
