Biography

Dr. Beverley Alleyne began her teaching career with Belmont University in 2003.  She is currently an Associate Professor of Accounting.  She teaches Integrated Accounting Principles, Integrated Accounting Principles 1 and Integrated Accounting Principles 2 at the undergraduate level.  She has also taught at the graduate level in the Summer Accounting Institute. She earned her AAS in Computer Science, New York City Technical College, NY, a BBA in Information Systems, and MBA in Accounting from Long Island University, New York, and a D.B.A. in Accounting from University of Sarasota (Argosy), Sarasota, Florida. Beverley earned her RFI - Registered Forensics Investigator certification from the American Board of Forensics Accounting.
 
Prior to coming to Belmont, she earned several years of corporate experience from working in New York City for Prudential Financial and Equitable Life (AXA Financial).  She held several positions including Financial Internal Auditor, Financial Analysis Manager, and Diversity Officer.
