Biography
Bridget Williams Golden is the Director of the Fast Forward program at Belmont University. Bridget has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, specializing in student and alumni services, leadership and character development, academic advising, and association management.
Prior to joining Belmont, Bridget served as a relational completion advisor at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, Tennessee where she managed the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) Relational Advising Grant, coordinating the Pioneer Connections Peer Mentor Program for adult learners. She also provided advising support to 300 students pursuing associate degrees and certificates in business and information technology.
From 2011 to 2018, Bridget served as the Alumni Engagement Director for Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society. The Mortar Board Alumni Association was launched during her tenure, as well as the growth of alumni chapters and programming and chapter advisor training. Prior to working with Mortar Board, Bridget served as assistant director of student conduct at Vanderbilt University from 2007 to 2009 and assistant dean of students at Purdue University from 2001 to 2007. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Purdue University (BA, 1998, English education) and The Ohio State University (MA, 2001, higher education and student affairs), Bridget is the past president of the Purdue College of Liberal Arts Alumni Board.
