Approach to Therapy: My general approach to therapy is humanistic, existential, and strength based. I strive to assist clients in their healing and growth through increasing their sense of self-awareness and freedom, fostering hope through meaning, and becoming attuned to their value as a person. I also love to help clients recognize their own strengths and resources to create enduring change. People’s brilliance spills out everywhere throughout their lives, even when things seem the exact opposite. I hope to help clients become more aware of this brilliance in their day-to-day experience.
Favorite Way to Destress: I love to unwind through exercise. Going to the gym is a core part of my day both for strength training and using the dry sauna / steam room. Going for runs is also one of my favorite activities to move my body and be out in nature (as long as it’s not cold and my knees aren’t aching). Other things I love to do to destress include drumming, going to watch movies at the movie theatre, and enjoying time with friends and family.
Favorite Place to Unwind (ideally near campus): I always enjoy strolling down Belmont Boulevard to re-center my mind. The Well coffeehouse is also a top spot for me to relax, read, and drink some fantastic coffee.
