Christy did her undergraduate work in psychology and religion right here at Belmont! She earned a Master of Arts (M.A) in Leadership at Portland Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) at Central Baptist Theological Seminary. For the past 25+ years, she has served with one foot in the church and one foot in the academy. In addition to her role as Associate University Minister, Christy serves as a board member for a number of local non-profits and as an adjunct professor at Belmont.
She loves traveling (Scotland & South Africa in particular), cooking, architecture, NHL hockey and is passionate about students. Her vocation has been focused toward the next generation, hearing their stories and being present for some of their most formational moments!
