Biography
Derrick Battle is a Liberty University alum from Fredericksburg, VA. In 2017, Derrick began a career in education, teaching at Forsyth Tech Community College and Davidson County Community College in Winston-Salem, NC. Derrick joined the Belmont family in 2019. He graduated with a BA in Journalism in 2014 and an MA in Strategic Communication in 2016. Derrick has experience in the newspaper industry as a district manager, sports journalist and page designer. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, exercising, spending time with family and friends, and cooking.
