Biography

Isabella Lepp is a dance artist who brings a decades worth of experience educating and 20+ years of intensive dance training to Belmont University. Equipped with an MFA in Dance from Arizona State University, and a BFA in Dance from the University of South Florida, Lepp relocated to Nashville to pursue a teaching career. Throughout her artistic training, Isabella has performed and taught dance internationally, most notably having choreographic works featured in France, and Sweden (where she was born). In addition to her dance career, Lepp earned her 500 hour comprehensive Pilates certification in 2022 and used this knowledge to combine her passions by teaching “Reform & Recover: Pilates for Dancers”, and “Rooted for Flight” classes at ACDA and NHSDF. Holistically, Isabella has also served as President on several Dance Production boards, Artistic Director for various performances, and Leader in numerous arts organizations.

A combination of dance technique, deep embodied movement knowledge, and a love for sharing the body's capabilities is what Isabella brings into each and every dance class. Lepp will be teaching Theatre Dance Styles in Spring of 2025.
